This policy describes how IMASCIENCE, as data controller, collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to the IMASCIENCE.COM website (hereafter, the “Site”), as well as the rights you have over this data.
It is an integral part of the general terms of use of the Site, available on the Legal notice page.

Data we collect
The personal data we process is the data you voluntarily provide through the Site’s forms: contact form, project questionnaire and white paper request. Depending on the form, this includes your first and last name, company, email address, phone number, business sector and the content of your message.
Technical information automatically collected by the host during your browsing (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may also constitute personal data.
The Site offers neither account creation nor a comment section: no other data is collected.
How we use your data
The data provided through the forms is used to answer your requests, prepare commercial proposals, send you the requested documents (white papers) and, where applicable, inform you about our services and our news.
Technical browsing information is used to ensure the proper functioning and security of the Site, and to produce anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics.
Your data is neither sold, rented nor transferred to third parties.
Recipients and transmission
The data collected is intended exclusively for IMASCIENCE. It passes through our technical service providers only to the extent necessary for their function: hosting of the Site, email delivery and, if you book a meeting online, the appointment scheduling service.
It may also be disclosed to the competent authorities where required by law.
Data retention
Messages and contact details submitted through the forms are kept for the time needed to process your request and any ensuing business relationship, up to three (3) years from the last contact, and then deleted.
In accordance with Decree No. 2006-358 of March 24, 2006 relating to the conservation of electronic communication data, traffic data is kept for one (1) year from the day of its registration.
Cookies and analytics
The use of the Site may generate “trace files” (cookies), i.e., small text files that can be recorded in a dedicated space on the hard drive of your terminal (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), and which can be used by websites for a better user experience, with the exception of all data relating to the content of the exchanged correspondence or the consulted information.
The Site does not use advertising cookies. Any audience measurement implemented relies on aggregated, anonymous statistics, without individual tracking of visitors.
You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies; this does not prevent you from browsing the Site.
Content embedded from other sites
Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking tools, and track your interactions with this embedded content if you have an account connected to their website. This is notably the case for videos hosted on Vimeo and YouTube and for the Cal.com appointment booking module, which are governed by the privacy policies of these services.
Your rights over your data
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, object to the processing of, and port the personal data concerning you.
You can exercise these rights at any time by writing to contact@imascience.com or by mail to the head office address. A response will be sent to you within one (1) month.
If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
Security
IMASCIENCE implements the technical and organizational means at its disposal to protect the personal data entrusted to it: restricted access to data, encrypted connections (HTTPS), hosting in France by a professional provider.
The user is nevertheless informed that there are security and confidentiality risks inherent in the use of the Internet, for which no absolute guarantee can be given.
