I would like to warmly thank Imascience for their wonderful 3D illustration and scriptwriting work on the production of our corporate video, made for ORINOX's 10th anniversary.
Scientific communication for research
Communicate your research with impact and precision
Illustration, 3D animation, VR and interactive applications to captivate your audience effectively and convey your discoveries.
I had the pleasure of working with IMASCIENCE. Their passion for science, their creativity, their attentiveness and their talent for science communication brought real value to our projects, such as the R&D showroom and the vaccination film.
For this incredibly well-crafted virtual reality project! You gave us a truly high-quality immersive experience. You can feel the rigorous work that went into this project. You managed to create a captivating environment that genuinely transports users into another dimension.
The innovative interactive exhibits developed by Imascience bring often complex notions to life. They let our visitors, young and old, play, manipulate, and understand science!
Thank you. We'll be back for further animations in the future.
Your ability to truly understand our needs and, of course, the quality of your team's work. It has been a pleasure working with you, answering your questions with the constant aim of making the messages to illustrate ever clearer.
IMASCIENCE has been supporting our video and web projects internationally: competence, an excellent client relationship and competitive rates. A reliable partner I have no reason to leave.
Imascience supported us on two virtual reality video projects. Thanks to an excellent understanding of our environment and a rigorous scientific approach, their team accurately and clearly showcased the complex technical mechanisms behind our technologies.
A custom-made video that combines geology and craftsmanship: accurate scientific representations, modeling of a region and a unique manufacturing tool, and detailed artistic creations. A big thank you to the entire team for this work, which our visitors never stop praising!
We asked Imascience to work on a 3D animation for our contaminated soil remediation project. They delivered a very successful animation that met all the specifications, and within a relatively short timeframe! Excellent work, we are very satisfied with the result. We will definitely use their services again very soon.
Showcase your scientific research with 3D animation
Science isn’t always easy to explain in a few words. But images do it effortlessly, creating scientific communications that are memorable, engaging and interactive.
-
Precisely describe complex mechanisms A scientific illustration or a 3D animated film brings sophisticated processes into focus. They tell each scientific discovery in an interactive, educational way, so your audience retains the facts and issues presented far more easily.
-
Address health topics from the viewer’s perspective In the fields of health, nanomaterials and stem cells, our scientific illustrators take the recipient’s point of view. This draws them into discovering research advances by scripting the words of researchers or healthcare professionals. A 3D medical animation is created by analysing scientific publications and translating them into images that are precise to the subject — making them more accessible.
-
Build interactivity with private and public research players From touchscreen training at conferences to virtual reality with immersive headsets, interactive media perform well provided they are fully consistent with your vision and the work you want to communicate.
That’s why our 3D animation studio focuses on developing interactive scientific solutions that combine precise, user-friendly navigation while telling your story visually. The goal: your audience should have a clear view of the research subject in 3 or 4 minutes. The best experiences happen when they take part actively, even virtually.

A scientific project to visualise?
IMASCIENCE is a communication agency specialised in science. We support you in creating communication tools with an artistic sensibility. But the agency’s other strength is bringing you its proven expertise in the visual representation of scientific processes.
The questions you’re asking.
Our research topic is highly specialised: will you really understand it?
It's been our field since 2012: nanomaterials, stem cells, materials physics, space. Every project begins with an immersion in your publications and a discussion with your researchers, and nothing is released without their validation. An accurate image first requires an exact understanding.
How do you guarantee the scientific accuracy of the images?
We work from your sources: publications, data, diagrams, discussions with your teams. Every visual is submitted to your experts at short milestones, and the representation choices — scales, colours, simplifications — are explained and validated. Nothing ships without your approval.
Do you also produce publication figures and graphical abstracts?
Yes. Figures, graphical abstracts, journal cover proposals: we deliver images faithful to your data, built to the publisher's specifications (format, resolution, colour mode). The same visual work can then be adapted for a conference, a funding application or an outreach campaign.
Our results aren't published yet: what confidentiality guarantees do you offer?
We have worked under non-disclosure agreements for years, including on unpublished results or work pending a patent filing. Your data doesn't circulate, published references can be anonymised, and all IMASCIENCE work is produced in-house. No leaks are possible.
How much of our researchers' time will this take up?
Little, and at specific moments. We start from what already exists (publications, figures, data) and come back to your researchers at short milestones: scoping, storyboard, key images, final render. Between these milestones, we move forward on our own. Your researchers validate — they don't produce.
What budget should we plan for with research funding?
The budget depends on the medium (figure, film, application) and the level of detail: we quote it after an initial discussion, with no commitment. We know the frameworks of public research — contracts, tenders, ANR and European project budgets — and a single production often serves several purposes: conferences, the lab's website, funding applications, science communication.
