A huge thank you to IMASCIENCE! ✨
I would like to warmly thank Imascience for their wonderful 3D illustration and scriptwriting work on the production of our corporate video, made for ORINOX's 10th anniversary.
Illustration, 3D animation, VR and interactive applications to take your visitors on a journey through time and space.
I would like to warmly thank Imascience for their wonderful 3D illustration and scriptwriting work on the production of our corporate video, made for ORINOX's 10th anniversary.
I had the pleasure of working with IMASCIENCE. Their passion for science, their creativity, their attentiveness and their talent for science communication brought real value to our projects, such as the R&D showroom and the vaccination film.
The innovative interactive exhibits developed by Imascience bring often complex notions to life. They let our visitors, young and old, play, manipulate, and understand science!
Thank you. We'll be back for further animations in the future.
Your ability to truly understand our needs and, of course, the quality of your team's work. It has been a pleasure working with you, answering your questions with the constant aim of making the messages to illustrate ever clearer.
IMASCIENCE has been supporting our video and web projects internationally: competence, an excellent client relationship and competitive rates. A reliable partner I have no reason to leave.
Imascience supported us on two virtual reality video projects. Thanks to an excellent understanding of our environment and a rigorous scientific approach, their team accurately and clearly showcased the complex technical mechanisms behind our technologies.
Our museography approach means supporting you at every design stage to shape your exhibition project and showcase your collections through multimedia. Cultural heritage brought to life through tailor-made digital interpretation tools that meet your outreach needs.
Digital displays are placed along the visitor route to provide information about the works on show. Documentary films and 2D illustrations, projected directly or animated on touchscreen tablets, let every visitor engage with the exhibitions and scientific explorations.
The Croix de Baugé — Multimedia kiosk.
Whether historical or scientific in focus, various interactive devices can be integrated into the museum route. Designing mobile cultural interpretation tools is part of this, letting visitors discover heritage from a new angle by exploring it at their own pace. Media experiences on digital kiosks, touchscreens or accessible online through a web browser.

Museography inevitably brings immersive projects to mind. Virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D projection, video mapping — all multimedia techniques that transport visitors to another era. Historical heritage becomes interactive and comes back to life as interactive virtual models for engaging, educational animation.
The Forges de la Hunaudière — Augmented reality.
Animated films, 3D modeling, scientific illustration and virtual reality applications all play a teaching role. In documentary or playful form, they retrace the history of past civilizations and reconstruct lost monuments or objects. Creating true scenography in full alignment with the messages you want to convey.

Listening is at the heart of our process. You want to showcase your scientific and medical processes, train your teams, or share technological advances.
Attractive, educational visual representations. Enhance your publications with scientific images and medical illustrations. Show the invisible!

Discover this serviceMuseography projects range from producing animated films to 3D reconstruction, including the development of interactive multimedia applications in virtual and augmented reality and on mobile.
From concept to delivery, producing a 3D animation or scientific illustration project involves several stages. Stages you are involved in, for a project aligned with your goals for cultural promotion and educational interpretation.
Augmented reality application — The Forges de la Hunaudière.
Field studies, cadastral map, on-site visit, measurement surveys. Drawing up plans based on the iconography.
The pre-production phase plans out the different stages of the scientific project. Before drawing a 2D illustration or animating a 3D film, it is essential to create a story to bring it to life in images. The synopsis lets us build your exhibition project into a coherent, captivating script. This is then translated into a storyboard — drawing boards that set the mood of the animation before production. The graphic animatic finalizes the images through set and texture design.
The Forges — 3D modeling based on iconography, archive images and documentary references of comparable buildings.
Next comes the production phase. The sets and characters featured in the future 3D scenes are designed to measure. A 3D animation scene involves: 2D production (diagrams, photos, illustrations, icons), 3D production (modeling of objects and sets, texturing, lighting, animation) and sound production (music, voice-over, sound effects).
The Forges — Integration in Unity Technology. Adding the user interface and navigation. Programming interactions in C#.
Once the scenes of the museum animation project have been animated, they are assembled to follow the storyline (special effects, titling, transition effects). Your digital interpretation tool is then complete, viewable as video, in VR format or as a touchscreen experience.
Scientific illustrations and 3D animations also find their place in museums and cultural events. Our challenge: to take your visitors on a journey through time and space, through the realism of the images across discoveries, encounters and emotions.
To immerse them in an immersive world with a sensory experience, a historical reconstruction, an artistic creation in virtual reality.
The IMASCIENCE team brings together every skill involved in 2D and 3D media design to bring your projects to life. It offers innovative, appealing and relevant digital solutions for cultural sites. To relive and understand history!
Every visual is checked by domain specialists before delivery.
We understand the constraints of historical reconstructions and adapt our process accordingly.
No subcontracting — a single point of contact from brief to delivery.
Musée Mérieux, Les Forges de la Hunaudière, Universcience … we know your field.

In the museography sector, 3D reconstructions are complex because they often rely on remains and old documents that are hard to read. This calls for a precise, rigorous scientific approach.
To meet these scientific, technical and aesthetic demands, IMASCIENCE brings together a multidisciplinary team combining all the skills needed to create your exhibition project.
IMASCIENCE is a communication agency specialized in science and culture. We support you in producing communication tools with an artistic sensibility. But the agency’s other strength is bringing you its proven expertise in the visual representation of heritage.
Through a documentary approach: archives, iconography, on-site surveys, comparison with similar buildings or objects, and discussions with your curators, archaeologists or historians. Every reconstruction hypothesis is explained and validated before being modelled. This is how we reconstructed Les Forges de la Hunaudière and the Valley of the Kings.
Yes — this is in fact the most common situation. We cross-reference the available documents with comparable references and formulate hypotheses, validated by your scientific committee. The level of certainty can be reflected in the display itself: what is attested, what is probable, what is merely suggested.
Yes. We regularly respond to tenders from local authorities and cultural institutions, either alone or in partnership with museographers and scenographers. Our installations fit into an existing or in-progress exhibition path.
We design installations built for intensive use in public spaces: robust interfaces, automatic restart, content that can be managed without technical skills. We advise you on the equipment suited to your exhibition path and handle content updates over time.
By working on levels of reading: immediate, playful interaction for the youngest, and in-depth content for the curious. Mediation takes priority over technology — the installation serves the message, never the other way around.
Yes — the budget follows the ambition of the installation: a documentary film played on a loop doesn't cost the same as a virtual reality application. We scale the project to your means, and these productions often fit into applications supported by local authorities, the DRAC or the region.
