I’ve always been fascinated by science and the world around us, and for a long time I dreamed of becoming, in turn, a veterinarian, a volcanologist, or even an oceanographer specializing in deep-sea exploration.
My education has enabled me to build a solid foundation in the life sciences—ranging from animal and plant biology to microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry, and human physiology—before broadening my horizons to include environmental sciences, oceanography, and geosciences.
This diversity has taught me to draw on different disciplines and perspectives to understand scientific issues in all their complexity—an interdisciplinary approach that remains at the heart of my work today. For nearly ten years, I worked in the field of research and scientific expertise: seven years in a research laboratory, followed by three years at a scientific organization as a project manager.
There, I worked on issues related to biodiversity, habitats, and coastal ecosystems. These experiences shaped my scientific rigor, my naturalist’s perspective, and my interest in analyzing complex systems.
But what has always particularly drawn me to science is what comes after the discovery: understanding, sharing, and passing on knowledge. I love making knowledge accessible, building bridges between disciplines, and fostering dialogue among people who don’t necessarily speak the same language. For me, science reaches its full potential when it is understood, discussed, and shared.
It was in this spirit that I joined IMASCIENCE. Today, I support researchers, partners, and clients in their projects by bridging the gap between scientific issues and their communication.
My research experience enables me to understand scientific issues, engage with those who generate knowledge, and help present that knowledge in a clear, accessible, and accurate manner.
